What are they?
The Cogent group of companies includes two National Skills Academies, for the Nuclear and the Process Industries, as well as OPITO, the Oil & Gas Academy.
The academies enable the delivery of learning, business support and development to businesses in the Cogent sector, based on the needs identified through Cogent’s research and understanding of the sector.
Each has an independent, sector-led Board, incorporating key employers from their industries as well as union representatives. Cogent works with the academies to ensure that their products and services meet the priorities of those working in the sector.
