Mike O’Brien M.P., Minister for Energy and e-Commerce, will host an early evening reception to launch the Global Training and Education Partnership (GTEP) at Lancaster House on Tuesday, 14th December 2004.
GTEP is an initiative that matches the learning needs of organizations around the world with the UK’s extensive capability for delivering training and education solutions in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
GTEP is an industry sector partnership between ABOI, BOSCA, EIC, PIG and SBGI supported by UK Trade and Investment.
GTEP will develop and co-ordinate a promotional programme for the training & education segment of the industries and help facilitate their entry into international markets. Its role is to focus on developing and defining opportunities, co-ordinating UK solution providers and improving best practice within the sector to meet the needs of international clients.
