Cogent’s
one-stop-shop web-based careers information advice and guidance centre is now
up and running . The new portal has involved close liaison with the Cogent
industries and is aimed at promoting careers, salaries and prospects in the
Cogent sector. This
dedicated website presents the roles, qualification requirements and career
pathways associated with the main manufacturing categories in management,
scientific, technical and professional roles across the Cogent sector.
It
provides access to real job profiles, case studies and the pathways are mapped
out with entry levels, qualifications and industry standards. It will include
relevant courses and providers, and in the future will offer kite-marking of
provision.

these international standards-based roles and structure their job design and
qualifications requirements accordingly.”
