Cogent is supporting Real Prospects 2009 – a survey of the best graduate employers as rated by graduates.
Real Prospects 2009 is the first national survey of new and recent graduates' views about how successful employing organisations are at recruiting, training and providing career development opportunities.
It is completely independent and open to all recruiters and employers of graduates in the UK.
Cogent’s Communications Director, Mervin Dadd says, “Cogent is pleased to be supporting this unique research initiative. The results will provide invaluable insights into how graduates feel about their real experiences of employment within the Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Petroleum and Polymer Industries.
“We encourage as many organisations as possible to participate in the study to support the development of benchmarked industry standards across our sector.”
Conducted by HECSU (Higher Education Careers Services Unit) on behalf of Graduate Prospects Real Prospects 2009 is:
- a survey of what recruiting organisations actually deliver to graduates in their first few years of work
- will inform the development of benchmarked industry standards and promote best practice in the development of graduates
- free for standard participation
- completely independent and all results are anonymised
- not a ranked league table
It is imperative that as many employers and recent graduates take part in the survey to deliver the best possible picture of Graduate experiences.
