The Train to
Gain Sector Compact is excellent news for all employers within the Cogent sector
investing in workforce development.
The agreement
introduced significant flexibilities into the Train to Gain funding system to
encourage more employers to take advantage of funding for upskilling. It is
aimed at the specific skills needs of the science-using Cogent Sector and a
range of value-adding qualifications attracts the ring-fenced
funding.
