Applied Bioscience Technology Foundation Degree

Launching February 2012

The University of Kent are developing a new modular framework for learning for bioscience. It's designed to work with existing in-house provision. The framework provides the ideal training plan for employers looking to have their own provision accredited, while at the same time bringing in essential new learning.

Target audience

The Applied Bioscience Technology Foundation Degree can support people wanting to progress their career within SME and global organisations, covering relevant roles in the life science supply chain from research through development and into manufacturing.

Industry led

Discussions with industry on their current and future business needs have identified several key issues, where employees receiving additional skills and knowledge could potentially add value through application of the learning back in the workplace.

The following have been identified as key business drivers, subjects that have an impact on operational performance and where individual contributions can influence productive change:

Fees
£1,850 per year studying part time over three years. Total cost per full Fd programme of £5,550.
