The Royal Academy of Engineering supports the training and development of engineers in UK Industry through its annual scheme which makes company awards of up to £15,000 each.
In addition, prizes of £1000 are being offered for each of the five most innovative applications.
Over the last 10 years more than 900 companies spread across the UK have received funding for training programmes involving more that 15,000 engineers. This year the Acadeny will be awarding a further £300,000 through this scheme.
