The following Cogent Apprenticeship have now been approved for England and Wales.
Apprenticeship in Specialized Process Operations (Nuclear Options).
This apprenticeship is designed for people entering the Nuclear Industry. At present there are two pathways covering Nuclear Processing or Nuclear Decommissioning. This new Apprenticeship has four sections that will need to be completed:
- A National Vocational Qualification
- A Technical Certificate
- Key Skills at Level 1
* Communication
* Application of Number
* Information communication Technology
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
After completion of all these components the apprentice will receive a completion Certificate issued by Cogent Sector Skills Council.
Apprenticeship in Process Technology.
The new Apprenticeship is a result of a review undertaken by Cogent of all our Apprenticeships/Advanced Apprenticeships.
This Apprenticeship now replaces the old Apprenticeship in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chemical Manufacturing and Refining Industries.
The Apprenticeship in Process Technology is now in the same overarching format as the Cogent Advanced Apprenticeships.
