The Diploma in Science is a new and important qualification for 14-19 year olds, which is about to enter a new second stage of consultation from 25 Sept to 15 Oct, 2008. We would like to invite you to take part.
Firstly, thank you to all those who responded to the first brief consultation during July. This was a short opportunity to consider some early thinking on the Diploma’s scope and has now finished.
We have taken on board your comments and are moving this forward to create a preparatory document containing a draft vision and aims linked to emerging Themes and Topics.
This will be placed on
the Diploma’s website, www.sciencediploma.co.uk, on midday 25th
Sept until midday 15th Oct, and we would like to hear your views on
our progress by answering a series of questions. Please return during this time
to take part and please encourage colleagues to do so
too. To keep you informed,
there will be a third and more detailed consultation on the proposed draft
content in January 2009.
