The standard has been designed to reflect employers’ priorities and expectations in sourcing training and development solutions, and the practices of the organisations proven to be the best at delivering them.

Accreditation against the Standard is tough to achieve, so we can be confident in endorsing organisations to employers.  Consequently, the Standard is something which organisations can aspire to, and be proud of when they achieve it.

The New Standard is open to all organisations involved in the delivery of training and development solutions to employers, be they public or private, colleges, companies, or universities. The framework is made available for all organisations to better understand their capability and performance, but the assessment process offers the possibility of accreditation, to recognise and celebrate the best among training providers.

The New Standard will become the new vocational excellence badge for providers taking over from the CoVE badge that many of you are familiar with. There are two sections to the New Standard;
