Research Cogent’s Research Team provides labour market intelligence to ensure that Cogent business
activities meet the needs of employers in the sector. Together with evidence
gathered through ongoing engagement with employers, the team plays a critical
role informing and influencing government policy on skills and learning.
SSA Process
Sector Skills Agreements are being produced for every sector which is supported
by a Sector Skills Council including Cogent. The aim of these agreements is to
secure for each sector the range and level of skills necessary to achieve
productivity at internationally competitive levels.
