National Science Week runs from 11-20 March this year. For the past 11 years the BA, (British Association for the Advancement of Science), has co-ordinated a week of science, technology and engineering events across the UK which celebrate science and its importance to all our lives.
In the past, National Science Week events have attracted thousands of participants in activities, experiments and discussions. The BA say that organising a National Science Week event can benefit you, your organisation, your community and the wider public, by:
* improving organisational and communications skills of staff and volunteers.
* increasing the profile of your organisation
* building links with the local community.
* atttracting contributions and support.
* reaching new audiences.
