Cogent call for entries to the 2005 Apprenticeship Awards
24 Jan 2005

Now is the time to enter the 2005 Apprenticeship Awards supported by City and Guilds.

The Apprenticeship Awards are now in their second year. At the heart of the awards is the desire to showcase good practice and the real economic benefits which Apprenticeships have to offer to both individuals and employers.

The awards also seek to recognise employer commitment across all sectors, to developing young people through Apprenticeships, and to celebrate those apprentices who are exceeding their employers' or learning providers' expectations.

Last year's awards drew a fantastic response, with more than 1000 entries from employers and individuals. This year there are some superb prizes on offer. If your entry impresses the judges you could win a prestigious national award.

Winners will receive their awards at a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane in June 2005. The Apprenticeship Awards 2005 are supported by City and Guilds.

There are three main entry categories for this year's awards.

These are:

*    Apprentice of the Year Award

*    Personal Achiever of the Year Award

*    Employer of the Year Award

Key dates include:

*   Closing date for entries - 10 March 2005

*    Judging commences March-May 2005

*    Finalists announced on 16 June 2005
