The National Skills Academy Process Industries National Skills Conference and Dinner.

This one day conference will feature a range of high profile speakers, keynote speeches, case studies, master class and workshop sessions which aim to help you deliver solutions to the skills issues facing the UK's Process Industries, which encompases Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Polymers. The conference will:

The National Skills Academy for Nuclear and Cogent SSC have announced their first joint Annual Awards Dinner.

The UK Nuclear Skills Awards 2009 will take place at the Palace Hotel in Manchester 12 March.

The dinner will be a unique opportunity for employers and stakeholders across the Nuclear Industry to join together for an informal evening to celebrate success in workforce development through a number of Key Awards.

The keynote speaker for the evening will be Lord Young, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Skills and Apprenticeships, and the evening will conclude with an after dinner speech by Steve Williams MBE, British Rower and Double Olympic Champion.

Awards will include....
  • Regional Apprentice of the Year Award for Northwest/Northeast, Southeast/East, Southwest, Scotland and Wales
  • National Apprentice of the Year Sponsored by BNES
  • Foundation Degree/HNC/HND student of the year
