Cogent welcomes and fully supports the Business Secretary’s call for partnership between government and the private sector to make higher level skills work for Britain.
In his broadcast interviews on Monday 10th September, Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business hinted at what may be in his Industrial Strategy, and called for a concerted effort to continue building a scientifically literate workforce to inspire confidence in industry and reverse the trend of business moving overseas. By developing and nurturing the best British talent we will equip industry with skills it needs to be globally competitive and get back to long-term growth.
