Employers working with Cogent Sector Skills Council have developed a suite of Gold Standards for key roles across the process industries. The Gold Standard is a competency framework for performance in key roles which references skills and training solutions that can be used to underpin competence.
Cogent and the National Skills Academy Process Industries provide a service to employers to assess individual competence against the Gold Standard, as well as company competence management arrangements.
The new role of Competence Product Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects of the competence offer to customers, including the Gold Standard and Competence Assurance, and will report to Cogent’s Director for Products and Services.
