During the past two years, Cogent has been working with the National HE STEM Programme to improve employer links with universities.
The North West region is hosting a showcase event that will provide you with an opportunity to connect with universities in the North West region on issues such as research, skills and training and will enable delegates to gain awareness of the outcomes of a number of recent North West Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) initiatives funded by the National HE STEM programme.
In particular, the event will showcase the STEM Business University Gateway; STEMBUG web tool. This tool has been developed specifically to lower the barriers for businesses that wish to access university services by providing a user friendly platform for accessing expertise. STEMBUG allows businesses to explore sector expertise offered by North West universities as well as providing an easy route to identifying available training courses offered by regional institutions.
