Developing Technicians as Professionals

You are invited to meet the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to explore how you can develop and recognise the skills and knowledge of your technicians. Technicians and recently completed apprentices are invited to make the first step to becoming professionally registered as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) with this free workshop and networking evening. Discover the benefits of gaining professional registration with the Institution and how it can support the ongoing development of your technicians and that of your company.

Where: Wirral Metropolitan College
Time: Arrive from 17.30 for 18.00 start

  •     Meet local representatives of the Institution
  •     Network and share experiences with other companies
  •     Make a start on your EngTech application - if you are a technician or former apprentice
  •     Meet professionally registered EngTechs and see how professional registration has benefited them
  •     Talk to the top engineering training providers from the Merseyside region who have approved apprenticeship schemes  with the Institution
  •     Have a tour of Wirral Metropolitan College engineering workshops
  •     Join us for hot food and refreshments
