This consultation outlines the Government’ emerging vision for skills and explores some key areas where it would like to seek further views. It sets the context for the technical funding system and methodology consultation – A Simplified Further Education and Skills Funding System and Methodology – that is being launched in parallel. It will publish a full strategy for skills after the Spending Review in October which will set out in more detail how it intends to support our learning and skills priorities.
