one-stop-shop web-based careers information advice and guidance centre is
a dedicated website which presents the
roles, qualification requirements and career pathways associated with the main
manufacturing categories in management, scientific, technical and professional
roles across the Cogent sector.
It
provides access to real job profiles and pathways mapped out with entry levels,
qualifications and standards. It also includes relevant courses, qualifications
and providers, and will soon offer kite-marking of provision.
Cogent
has worked with employers to define the skills, competencies and qualifications
required for a world-class sector. Here individual companies can benchmark
themselves against these industry “Gold Standard” based roles and structure
their job design and qualifications requirements accordingly.
