Cogent offers a £650 per person grant towards training women in your industry
17 May 2010

The Cogent SSC Women and Work Programme is a new initiative for the science-using industries to support the skills development of women, particularly into non-traditional technical roles.

Employers are encouraged to review the skills development needs of their business and where there is a skills gap or a career progression opportunity identified among female staff, individuals may be eligible for a £650 grant for their development.

This grant* is not targeted at a particular qualification, but supports any skills intervention that will add value to the company bottom line and promote the development of women in the workforce.
