The Technical Apprenticeship Service (TAS) is an easy to use recruitment service for employers, providers and apprentices. It was officially launched on 13th October, by Cogent Chairman, Tom Crotty at Cogent SSC’s Annual Skills Forum hosted by Wirral West MP, Esther McVey, at the House of Commons.

Dr David Adams has been appointed as Cogent Director of Science and Higher Education (HE). Dr Adams’ responsibilities include leading on Science and HE, including policy, as well as project management of a number of key programmes within Cogent’s strategic Life Sciences Skills Action Plan.
