Gain recognition for commitment
Cogent, the Skills Council for the process industries, together with its partner the National Skills Academy Process Industries recognises commitment to the Gold Standard competence journey. Companies who have made this commitment are invited to place their logo on Cogent's website "Roll of Honour" to showcase their commitment to world class skills. They will also receive a certificate.
Your organisation can make this commitment in a number of ways, using the Academy's Skills Assurance process.
The Skills Academy can work with you to benchmark your company's skills and identify training gaps using the Gold Standard framework. This gap can be closed through either:
1. Training, qualifications, work-based learning
We can support you to access Gold Standard qualifications from approved Skills Academy providers through our unique referral system This process takes place at a pace and time to suit employers and their employees.
2. ASET (Assessment System for Employer Training)
The Skills Academy's system benchmarks employer-delivered training against the Cogent Gold Standard. You will get a report with recommendations for action and can then select appropriate training programmes based on guidance received.
The Gold Standard logo
Organisations that have been recognised having committed to the Gold Standard can also use the Gold Standard logo. The mark is a registered trademark and is protected by copyright.
